Couple self-portraiture

just a couple of goofballs that got let out of the house for a minute

my hair looks unusually greasy (or as they say in some parts of Indiana, greazy) in this picture...

I know that I say it A LOT...but, those pictures are AWESOME! Probably, two of my most favorite to date...because they are so rare, and they are of you! And, your hair isn't greasy, it's shiny like one of your friends pointed out. Glad that you got to the movies. I've been wanting to see Fireproof, but I just haven't made time for it. Guess I should try to see it before Christmas break...because I know in li'l ol' Kinston, they aren't showing it anymore.

Love ya, kiddo.

I would definitely recommend that you try to find this somewhere...it was eye opening. married or not.

You are too nice...yes, the pix of D or I are quite rare...and never all that good but the fact that they are there or are taken at all is important...we were here too! thanks for always being so edifying. you are the wind beneath my wings...man, sappy movie music is getting to me, huh?

Ready for your 3 day week? hope you got all of your schoolwork done, you smart, highly intelligent, gorgeous girl, you!

Big hugs

I want to see that movie so bad. It is still near us (not in the same town but in the "big town" next door). I've heard so many good things about it.
I like the self portrait! Very expressive. And your hair doesn't look "greezy" but I did laugh that you posted it. Sounds like something I would say. Straight hair is just MUCH harder to wear. (Mind is so stick straight) We need the huge hair of the late 80's early 90's to come back. Now THAT was hair you could hide stuff in.

Awww -- so nice to see "date" pics. I am glad you liked the movie. We had gone with my parents -- I cried too and had to ask my mom to dig for kleenexes. But I didn't want to tell you ahead of time -- no spoilers and no thinking I'm a big sap unless you're a big sap too! He he he!

that was classic, Steph...definitely need the hair you can hide stuff in to come back in...now! plus, my hair is not as thick as it used to be at ALL! get to that next door town and see that movie..'twas great!!

Charmaine, thanks for not "spoiling" it for me! I couldn't stop the tears at a couple different spots...looked over at D. and his eyes were all watery too...I, contratry to popular belief, am one of the biggest softies around. and I'm not referring to my midsection either...:)

Hugs to you

Somebody's been so very busy. Thanks for taking the time to comment, though. It's always good just to get a quick smile from you. ;) And, I like your latest movie updates. Love ya, kiddo.

Dear Laurie

I am thankful for you, my blogging friend. I'm thankful for your friendship this past year: All the nights you listened to me ramble on about my problems. All the times you trusted me enough to confide in me. All the cups of coffee I didn't have to drink by myself. I'm thankful for Dave and the kids, too. I'm also thankful to your, of course, for introducing me to "a certain person who shall remain nameless."

Love you. Happy Thanksgiving
