Take off your coat, stay awhile...

David's brainchild...and it's a good thing. We have needed a coat rack in the upper level for toooo long now. and he thinks it's all his. hmmmph.

of course, said coat rack really interrupted my "classroom" flow but that's ok...we can work around it. One of the many beautiful things about home educating our children. Flexibility. on many levels but that's a post for another day.

This made D. and I laugh a lot this morning...that man can never find his belt. I mean, he can take it off at night and get up the next morning and not know where it's at....well, this morning, this is where it was...Levi, you are cute. really cute.

slow news day.
How to compete after a day like yesterday. Thanks again EVERYONE...
I am going to be a baking fool today...so this will be short...I'm sure a blog post will ensue afterwards...since I am so non-Martha Stewart and so not patient and I know the kids will want to "help"...and I know there is a sink full o' dishes down below so........anyways.
Hope this finds you choosing JOY, enjoying and embracing these beautiful holiday moments. Lots of love to ye!

have fun baking! I wish i could be there to bake with you! Remember the year we made cookies at the dorm and you were pg with Ethan and you were sitting on the edge of that cheap little lawn chair and it bent? That is my Christmas cookie memory. I thought about that when i was sitting on one of the little princess table chairs last night... Okay, i have to work SOME today. xoxo

It may have been a slow news day, but you always have posts that make me smile!
Paul loses his belt a lot too, but we've never found it like this! How cute! We need to get Levi, William and Joshua together with their Hot Wheels.

And tell David I love the coat hangers! Ours always end up on the love seat right inside the front door. If he has any ideas for shoes, let me know. They land right inside the front door too! Mine included.

I'm getting ready to blog about our cookie-making experience this year. Very non-Martha also.

Bye Pretty Lady!
Love ya!

How funny. Really read it yesterday, but I forgot to comment...can you tell that I am getting old, too? Hahaha...

I love the coat hangar, and it's so much more practical than a coat tree (just another piece of furniture around). And, of course, Levi always amuses me...I wish that I could know what he's thinking, don't you? All of your children are witty and smart, but Levi just takes the cake...he definitely marches to the beat of his own drummer.

Hugs, t
