Go-Kart Magic...

David was just tooo fast for my lens...

E. wouldn't cooperate by looking at his mother...

Will got to drive Melanie around in their first round...

Molly watched with great interest...

Melanie tearing up the track...

E. is in the car to the left with Levi, David in the black car, Will and Mel last one...good times, good times.

David and Levi

I got to tear it up on the fast track...D., Will, and E were with me but I think I was waaay ahead of them at this point...(or if I remember correctly, way behind them)

Tired and hungry go-karters!

Last night, David, the kids and I spent an evening doing some go-karting, eating out, and just plain ol' enjoying each other's company before he left this morning for a week in Springfield, Missouri! After our laps around the tracks at Rascal's Fun Zone, we dropped Molly's photos off to my momma, helped her move her filing cabinet and then went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. I will have to say, we won't be going there again. It used to be our favorite atmosphere for eating out with kids, very kid-friendly and we'd all split a fish n' chips meal...the prices have gone up just a bit and the portions are smaller and not as tasty...

Aside from that, we had a really nice time together and it's always good to be reminded of how thankful we are for each other. Even in spite of the every day crazy...Happy Trails David...have a "fun" time working in Springfield! We will miss you!

Up next, I will share with you some of the pix that Molly had taken at Target back at July's end. Ciao!

My very, very favorite was the one of Ms. Laurie Speed-Demon! That sure looked like fun. Glad that you have things like that nearby to do with the family. I'm with you on Joe's...I have never been a big fan. And, with 5 kids, I cannot imagine the priciness. Glad to see you're back to bloggin'; although, I understand the delay. ;)
