crafting mode...

LOVE this chalkboard wall...wishing we didn't have stucco on so many of our own walls...waaa.

I am in such a crafting, scrapping mood lately.

It doesn't help that my sister is too. Or that Melanie easily jumps on this bandwagon.

I have so many ideas rolling around in my head, from JOY ornaments and ways to implement Jack's initials, thus him, into each season, holiday and our daily lives, to notes and cards I want to give to someone having a birthday, anniversary or stressful time in their lives, and then scrapbooking, card making, ministering to others thru this venue.

My mind is a jumbled, sparkly, chaotic place to be right now.

Here are a few things I would like to pull out and share...

Chalkboard paint....discuss....

paper stars....discuss....

the start of JOY Ministries ... discuss.

organizing my scrap room...getting rid of EVERYTHING and making a space that can be used by all of us and any extras, to get our ministry going and to get my scrapbook biz off the ground. (this thought, alone, is making my head ACHE!!) A general, central crafter's room of sorts...

Ok, all that said...drop me some hints, give me some ideas, and there could be a bonus in it for you because I NEED HELP! Drastic help...

Gotta go help Mel with her Literature...until next time...peace, but not in my head.

ok, I saw a project on diy or hgtv. They took a section of wall and 1st painted with a paint that is magnetic. Then they painted the chalkboard paint over that. So you have a magnet board and chalkboard in one! I loved it. However, I am the least crafty person in the world!

I love that you are in a crafty mood! You are inspiring me! I think that I scared my students with the scrapbook page for them to sign (if this doesn't make sense, it will in a follow up letter). I most definitely want to have an organized crafting space where I would feel like crafting rather than to think first, how hard is it going to be for me to get it all out, and then will I have to put it all away before I even finish. Arrgghhhh! Definitely need organized space. I want shelves, big desks, and filing cabinets. I saw one time where they took a big piece of wood like a "countertop" or desktop and placed it on top of two filing cabinets. So, it gave them a custom table with storage. And, chalkboard paint, how fun is that! Is that a picture of your house, and if so, why is Ethan the only one represented (E)? ;)

Well, cousin, you have done it again, you and your crafty ways have made my day (oh, and I love the stars that you made from Beck's template! Simply gorgeous!)

Take care, and Happy Wednesday (sorry to add that it is week 20...would he have had teeth by now? and, just think, how spoiled would he have been?). Oops, sorry to end it on such a sad note (just trying to prepare myself for tears on Wed/Thurs). For that, I should pay penance of 20 whacks of a wet noodle. Well, I am too far away. But, until you can catch me, you will have to be satisfied with blogger hugs, Tory

Totally envisioning us working together on "the space." SUCH FUN!
I am here, ready & awaiting your call to "COME HELP!"
As long as Mel can help with eyes on Kade and Ethan can keep Elijah occupied...
