Outdoor World

The kids and I visited Outdoor World, Bass Pro Shop on Monday while David was working. It's a humongous hunter/fisher's world...and though none of us are either of those in our immediate family, it's still fun to go look at all of their stuff. Especially because that particular store always has neat displays of real animals (stuffed and living). We spent over an hour here, just checking out their awesome facility. What was truly sad though, was that right next door, there was an Outdoor and Wildlife Museum that was currently shut down due to renovations. (yes, I should have gotten a picture of this place because it was massive).
Up next, pix from our visit to the Fantastic Caverns...Missouri is known as the Cave State. I really can do without lots of caves, but they are neat once in a while. spookalicious but cool. (I kept imagining our tour guide shutting all of the lights off and leaving us down there...125 feet below)

Thank you for a new post! I've been checking all day!! Those are such cool stores! The pic of the yellow fish kinda grosses me out, though. Fish are NAAAASTY...i just imagine cutting it's big head off...blech...they're so slimy...

Cool pictures! Wouldn't it be neat to see some of those critters out in their natural habitat alive and well? Ahhh...craving the big outdoors!

Hugs,
