Twin birthdays and easy like Sunday morning...

while taking "ambience" photos, I caught Natalie throwing out the peace sign. There really isn't a much cuter human female than this little momma to be.

David is the guy without glasses (though the eye doc tested him and said he will need glasses again. bummer) and Matt is the guy with glasses. Do they look like twins to you?

Cool Hand Mel. not so much. we might need to get a pool table so we can tweak the kids' pool skills.

The Party was taking place in that upper lofty place...I am really quite fond of the tin ceiling.

Natalie, all glowy and such...and the rest of 'em...Emilie is in awe of her sister, Nick looks like he's picking his nose, though he wasn't...and Will, well....

Sunday morning, we stopped by Matt's uber cool top floor apartment. Here, he is showing us his favorite gift...yes, that is a take and bake Pyrex dish. I was just impressed that it was his fave gift and that he actually knew how to use it and was pretty darned excited about it.

Molly stayed with Beck and her fam. If you are my friend on Facebook, you surely saw some of the funny photos that B. sent me of Moo in various events. my favorite MMS was the Carwash Horror. I know Moo had fun, in spite of herself. Thanks Beck and Scott. I smooch you...

Levi stayed with my parentals. He is spoiled. That is all i will say about that. thanks Mom, Dad, Tom, for taking such good care of Levner. Hugs to you.

It was nice (stayed in the Drury) and went by too quickly but I'm so appreciative of the help that my family gave...THANK YOU....and for the time we had to just get away. You really realize how much work those littler people take. And how much NOISE. but hey.

We had a great time.

Ok, Matt, I have not forgotten to put a "just Matt" pic on here but there's always someone in the pic with you...I guess it would be kinda weird for me to be like, "Hey Matt, can I get a picture of you by yourself??"

so that's the struggle...though it is fun looking back at all these pix...

And it's true, over the years, we always wonder what Matt's hair will be like at whatever family function is coming next...whether it's the shaved look, or the wild and crazy long haired GQ model, you always keep us guessing! So, my only squeeze turns 38 today! Wow...does that sound old or is it just me? It's only two yrs older than 36, but it's just that much closer to 40, which is only a number, folks! You're only as old as you feel. (today, I feel close to 55)

David is one awesome fella. His intense nature only occasionally gets under my skin...:) He's as neat as I am not. He's as smart as I am not also. Can I get an amen? (amen...from David)...He's as great with $ as I am not. (another amen...from David)

David Franklin was also a twin...though he was born first...Matthew Richard followed the path shortly thereafter! How cool to have a fraternal twin...a womb-mate.

So here's to you, David and Matt...hope your 38th year is rich and exciting...

David, I am continually in awe of how God took such good care of me in giving you to me! or is it the other way around, me to you...anyways...I'm blessed to have you in my life! I love you!

Aren't these fun pix? Matt taught the kids how to do expression pix...E. and Mel can make some faces, can't they? I like the Melanie/Matt mad one!

Will didn't get too involved...he was too busy taking some funny pix of his own with my cam while I wasn't looking. not sure if I should post any of those because a couple of them are of me. The pic of David and Matt is funny because I got the normal brother shot and then Matt laid his head down on D's shoulder and David's expression didn't change, he just looked more uncomfortable...it's fun to do that to you, David...loosen up, ol' boy. (he really has loosened up since I met him over 15 years ago...) Anyways, it was fun, come again, Matt!

We are finally going to get the ornaments on our tree today...it has been "lit up" since Fri. night but we just haven't taken the time to do it and besides that, I want to get pix of the event. All five kids gathered around the tree, puttin' on the ritz and each of their ornaments from over the years. a very cozy day today...with all of this gooshy rain and drear! We will brighten the day with our Christmas spirit...yeah, ok. crank up the XM Holiday Traditions, watch Elf again...good stuff.

A very happy 3 MONTH BIRTHDAY to you today, Dear Little Nora!! You are getting to be such a big, chatty girl! Love you!

Good Monday Morning, Folks! Hope you all had a lovely four day weekend and that you were able to be most thankful. Now on to Christmas...

Today's post includes pix from a weekend visitor that came to us. David has a twin brother (they are fraternal folks, just in case you are wondering), Matt. He spent the night with us Sat night. It was a nice visit....thank you, Matt, for making the effort to see David and the rest of us! It was great to visit with you and we are glad you are back in this area of the country.

The pic of Levi sleeping so uncomfortably under my dressing table is priceless...Sat. night, when all the revelers were out playing games and watching movies, I laid down to feed Molly. I could hear Levi crawling around on my floor by my bed but I fell asleep with M. and got up a bit later to put her in her crib. I could hear this loud breathing, almost snoring and just thought she was extra tired that night. I checked around because it was getting louder and more snore-y. and low and behold, Little Levi had been in the room with me all along and fell asleep under the table while I was sleeping. He is such a funny, sneaky little guy. I didn't rescue him until everyone out in the living room had a chance to see the little sneak.

Ok, well, speaking of that funny little guy...he is asleep on our futon right now and he woke up scared, so I came out here to sit with him and remembered that I needed to post for Mon. morning...it's now 4:05 a.m. and I'm going back to la-la land. It makes sense now as to why this post would be so choppy (not that all of my "awake" posts are any better...)
