I'd like to be, under the sea...

Molly: inside out bathing suit, showing her sassy dance moves to Bulletproof. this girl has rhythm.

we have the coolest kids...Levi wins the award for nicest Coppertone tan! He looks like my sibs and I did from our summers in Grandma T's pool.

Will & Levner

they do this a lot!! Levi has become such a good swimmer this summer....I'm so impressed!

notice who's knocking me over here...Mr. Splashypants...he lives to splash me, dunk me, and knock me off my tube!

Ethan likes to pretend he's dead. creepy.

Melanie is our Ethel Merman...synchronized swimming delight...

David brought home his Sbux treat...and Molly delighted in it...oh my!

Molly has also, just in the past 2 weeks, become quite the little daredevil. it is sooo cute to watch her jump in...she really should be a gymnast.

look at those legs! amazing!

Tom, my big bro, got an underwater camera...this was our first adventure with it! Oh, the fun to be had...

These were taken on Friday, July 23...I shall truly miss these delightful summer months when winter rears it's head...we have had such a nice time cooling off, chillaxing with my parents in our little oasis.

Thanks, for the 4th season, to Becky's C in-laws, for giving us this true gift! We LOVE it more every year...

Hope you've had a wonderful weekend...here's to a new week...

Levi double dutchin' it...

the ol' boy's still got it. what he has, we aren't sure, but he's got it.

Ethan....wow.....

Willverine...David looks skeered.

Tom's new Nikon is da bomb...what a cool picture! all of these pix were taken by our resident photog...thanks bro.

What's been up?
David's been outta town on a job in French Lick...
Life is just crazy busy and is going by way too quickly.
Do you ever feel the same way?

Kids have been working the Kaleo mini-ministry week (that's hard to type and even harder to speak)...and that has been a huge blessing. Will started his new homeschool soccer league this week, Mel worked the library volunteer job today...my dad has been down here two days now, clearing weeds, over-growth and is getting this place to look a bit more like a park every day. I thank the Lord for the opportunities He has given me, though, at the time, I may grumble...this could all change in a heartbeat so for today...

I am thankful for: (this will not be a complete list)

~My healthy, beautiful, bright, helpful, caring kids
~Involved parents that love my family and I
~An extremely dedicated and hard working husband, who enables, with the Lord's help, me to be able to stay home and raise our 5 chickies.
~Unique, interesting, fun house to live in
~Amazing friends and siblings that support and encourage me in so many ways
~I'm done now...it's good to write this stuff down...it really puts it in your face, all the reasons one has to be joyful and grateful.

Happy Thursday, Folks. Thanks for stopping by...

Some cool pool pix

what an amazing action shot, huh? go Melanie...so agile

My little sea monkeys

so much for the idyllic scene...this was David's first time in the pool for this season, he wanted to make a splash!

Not much to say here, just wanted to post these pool pictures for your Monday viewing pleasure. So while you are at work, or going about your business, whatever it is that you do, maybe these splashy pix will cool you off.

I do have to say, though, that we are so thankful for this pool! I grew up in Michigan. The Great Lakes state. I would swim in lakes occasionally but preferred the family pool that was strategically placed between my mom's parents house and her brother's. We didn't have any air conditioning in the summer, it gets hot and muggy. We spent a lot of time in that pool. I thought everyone swam everyday, all summer long. I thought everyone had a place that they could cool off in! Needless to say, when we moved down here to Indiana, we didn't have that luxury anymore. Having a pool makes all of those hot, sometimes mundane outside chores and activities a little more tolerable (have I said this before?)...because you can get the job done and jump in the pool. We are so happy to have this pool...and as we probably will be every year that it's running, thanks to Becky's in-laws, for giving it to us! It has not been without our share of hard work, sweat and money but it's been a great gift! gracias!!

So, come on down to swim!
