Go watch "V for Vendetta" but try to ignore the skanky, weird parts that Hollywood insists on putting in for thrill, ick factor.

This weekend promises many things...hopefully high up on that list is REST!

Now that my momma has made it back home to her nest, we can now have Levi's 8th birthday party, and only 6 days late. That will be the highlight of our day tomorrow.

Today, I really need to get my pool covered...

Mel gets to go to a Kaleo retreat tonight and she's so excited. So thankful for the Bandy's and their amazing ministry to youth!

The new cat, aka SATAN, decided to sharpen her claws on the leather couch. uncool.

We are getting together with some old friends (they're not old) on Sunday and very excited about how God restores relationships. Maybe I'll blog about it. that is a story for another day. or maybe not. if you know me, us, you know what I'm talking about. Praisin' the Lord BIG TIME over this!

All in all, the weekend will be chill. and I couldn't be happier. thanks for allowing me to be completely random.

My kids are so excited (the first four) because tonight, Grandma and Grandpa are having them all over for a sleepover...Are you sure you know what you've gotten yourselves into, M & D?

My sister is having an Uppercase Living party tonight so Molly and I will go to that...then it's home again, home again to a nice, quiet evening with my super cute husband! won't that be weird, just he and I in the homestead with only ONE kid? I think so...we'll probably both fall asleep! he's been a hardworking boy this week...way to go, Daveyboy...you ROCK!

Dman is working tomorrow for a bit...and there's no Patria...so I'm not sure how we will fill our time...as if. don't ya just love the pic of him flexing for the cam? He lifted weights last night. He'd probably kill me if he knew I blogged this but it happened...so it's here. sorry manly man! (yup, just as I had suspected, he was mortified...but I convinced him that it was ok...)

We started dressing the little Charlie Brown Christmas tree in the lower level...It's quite cute, even with out ornies.

I think we mentioned Levi's tiny robe the other day and my camera just now quit acting weird and let me upload the pictures. It was so funny that he asked me to take his picture for my blog. Isn't it funny how things are SO different for our kids as they were for us? What's a blog? How is it that you can see your pictures as you take them? Weeeeird! Times are changing!

This is how lovely fell asleep yesterday..doesn't this look painful?? There is just something about having her face buried...she is so opposite of me in this respect!

The kids all had teeth cleanings yesterday morning..we got to spend 2 hours waiting, if not more...this is where we took this pic...it's so nice to have kids that want to help out with the little ones and that actually enjoy doing so! Molly was Ethan's mini-me yesterday...her face was as round as his!

I love Fridays! It's cleaning day! yah! My kids are so excited! It's 10:30 almost and we still aren't getting anything done for the day though...so it looks like I'm going to have to get out my whistle, get my big stick out and get things moving around here! I never knew that being a mom meant that you had to constantly stay on your kids to get ANYTHING done. Sorry for all those years of not listening to you, Mom and Dad.

Looks like we are in store for a quiet weekend. That will be nice! David is in Missouri so we won't have anything to do. Beck, if you can, spend the night tonight....that will be fun! Maybe we could do pizza, ay? lemme know. Time to go light a fire under the troops' bottoms. Have a blessed weekend! Enjoy the warmer weather!
