Hello Folks! Just poppin' in to post a few pix from our July 4th evening fun!

They are pretty self-explanatory, these pix!

We've been going down to this Starbucks faithfully for the past 4-5 years...there never used to be much of a crowd...the parking lot is filled with folks, lighting their own 'works, among other things. There may even be some folks packing heat! I think it's safe to assume that!

We enjoy risking our lives...'tis always a good time!

Hope the last day of your 3-day weekend is a relaxing one...we just played some beach ball volley in the pool, all 6 of us, while Miss M slept...thanks Tory, Linda, and David for the awesome package you sent to us...that beach ball has been a blast and so has all the other fun stuff you sent! (I shall be blogging some of those pix today or tomorrow)!

I really do think this guy is cute though, but this is not one of his more flattering shots! He was on the floor, getting ready for work, and I looked over to this...(long story) but at least he wasn't yelling at me.
Um, so it's a slow news day really. I have a load of stuff to do today, none worth mentioning. I am getting my hubby and 3 oldest kids ready for a jaunt over to the in-laws...Mel has piano lessons, school, exercise...ahhhhhhhhh.
Levi has been walking around like Porky Pig all day (my new fave saying, thanks to my sister, it's where one has a shirt on but no pants)...he does have his briefs on but this kid loves to PP it.
The coffee cup is a sweet reminder of a fun visit with some friends last night...I think I will save this cup for ever.
I need to get a life.

Can I just say, whoa??

We had my dear momma's b-day party tonight, our place, 5 p.m....dear sister, Beck, came early to begin food prep...tacos and creamy crockpot chicken (a.k.a. triple c). I always have such a good time hanging with her, even when we are grumpy, even when we are poor, even when we don't both drink coffee. That is all about to change. As I was getting my food, B. asked if she could taste my coffee...granted, it's in there somewhere, as it had creamer (yes, hydrogenated soybean oil, sugar, and other gunk)...and lite whip on top...tempting to even the non-coffee drinker. She proceeded to drink my whole mug o' joe...Way to go, Beck. You are really growing up or should I say going down hill? Anyways, that was definitely a highlight of my night, heck, probably even 2008. Now we can go to a coffee shop, sit and sip our cares away! thanks for a completely yummy and satisfying dinner, familio! lovin' thou!
