It's all relative...

I thought Molly was a little "toughy" till I met this little crazy cat for the third time....she tunks around like she owns "the place"....and she puts up with no bull! cute! tough! spunky! sassy just like her momma! Your girls are sweet, Dawn.

My big boys...

whose food can I eat now?

I think I'm safe....I don't think Dawn is a regular Livin' the Good Life follower, so she won't notice this picture...but the pic of Taylor is pretty funny!

Levi and Laynee...second cousins can marry, right? eww. j/k

David's trusty side kick (you are doing awesome, big bro), Tom. He is notorious for pulling a Sean Penn when the camera is pointed at him...but when he's snapping shots? watch out...he gets some pretty wild pix...

cute girls

it's like looking at pics from the past, except that Dawn is four years older than me and Molly really doesn't look all that much like me...but Taylor, the little toe-head next to Mollsy??? she is the SPITTING image of her mother!

I thought it was cute the way Molly ran from me when I let her out of the stroller. no really, Mel was walking with her...and this little pug likes to give her patient big sister a harrrrrrd time.

Part of our Michigan family came down for a visit last week...Lanie (my aunt, she was married to my mom's brother, and he passed away almost 10 years ago...can u believe that, guys??), her daughter, Dawn, and Dawn's two little chicklets, Laynee and Taylor...We visited the mall, the local Mickey D's playland, soccer practice, ate dinner a couple different times in the hotel dining room....and the catch up visit was nice....Thanks for coming down, gals!
We had a very nice time! I'll have to stalk Dawn's facebook page to put some of her pix on here....until then...hope you had a fantastic weekend. Be back later.

Happy Birthday, Aunt Lanie!

BFF's through the years...my mom with my oldest cousin, Kenny,
with Aunt Lanie (aka "Doe")

Doe with her first granddaughter, Natalee

sitting pretty

Happy Birthday to YOU!

We hope, from down where we are, that your day is a beautiful celebration! Wishin' we could eat some cake with you and go to Orion House or one of those places we used to frequent (get the little room off to the side that fit our entire family...sniff sniff)! May the Lord bless your 61st year (oops, was I not supposed to mention your age???) with many warm moments :) (((hugs)))

Lanie is my mom's sister in law. She married my mom's only sibling, Allen, aka "Buck". hence, her nicky of "Doe". She is the mother to my cousins, Ken, Dawn, and Scott. She has 7 grandkids!! When she was dating my uncle, (back in the olden days...), they were on a hayride (Gpa was driving) and she fell off, and my Gramps ran her over. nice. To this day, she has knee issues, a loving reminder of days gone by. gee, thanks, Grampa.

You are in our thoughts and prayers...hope your birthday is memorable. I'm sure it will be! Lots of love from all of us down 'ere.

Hope this finds all the rest of you doing well, in good health, and enjoying some springtime bliss! I need to post on the porch latest. We are staining it a cool blue color...you'll just hafta see it. (come back, come back)

little side note: Charmaine, I didn't get in trouble on Tuesday. (thanks for being concerned though) It was fun to play on Mrs. S' lovely grass with you and your kids. I am still laughing about the Brett incident! hee hee. I can see his hair flappin' in the breeze. =)

Loved ones from Michigan

Taylor McMath...happy thing! she is her mom's maiden namesake
The look-alikes...Dawn and her 2nd daughter (T)
Lanie and Laynee (L squared as I like to call them)
Lil' punkin Tay Tay
Laynee with her halloween loot...share the wealth!
My cousin, Dawn, brought it to my attention that she had never been posted on my blog! Well, that is about to change. For now, you, your mom, and your 2 daughters are blog regulars! whaddya think of that?
Dawn and I grew up together in Michigan. Her dad and my mom were siblings. If you saw the post from Wed. where I brought out the Christmas thru the years album, she is on my page from my first married Christmas...(1993)
These are her daughters, Laynee, who just turned TWO, Happy Birthday, chicklet and Taylor, who is a month younger than Molly and 2 weeks older (exactly) than Nora! It's so funny to me, still, that we all had girls. (Her brother, Scott and his wife, Jen, had a baby girl in May as well...Evelyn Christine, I have no recent pix of her so she has not been posted yet...bring it on).
Dawn, keep on sending the pix thru, and I will be sure to post them on here. but what would be cool as well, is if you got a blog of your own. Love you all! thanks for sharing your pix with us. :) :)
