I know I've been a bad blogger but I will try to make amends and come up with some interesting posts. Well, that's a pretty tall order...but I will try my darndest to meet it.

This weekend has been weeeeeeeeeird. There is absolutely NOTHING to blog about...Molly's not even that much fun to blog about anymore. Can't get her to let me take some pix...

Our dinner with a couple of David's bosses and their spouses was a lot of fun! It was so very ritzy, the service, the food, the atmosphere...whoa! I could get used to the high life. yeah right. Shula's Steakhouse was definitely an experience and we are thankful for it. I had a big ol' piece of blackened salmon. mm mmm good!

The big boys went skiing with Jeff yesterday, who promises that he DID get pictures of that event...so I will blog them as soon as they show up...they had a blast and we, again, are grateful for the opportunity! Mel babysat for Piper and Nora and then left me for her friends...so I managed to get most of the house cleaned, even with the two peskiest kids on the planet under foot. argh. :) Love you L and M. I do. A nice quiet evening, helping Daveyboy gather pix and send out emails for his upcoming INDOT meeting...(he's quite nervous)...today, a wonderful worship service....great message...visit with friends...ahhh. God is good...I praise Him for the quiet, deep times.

On that note...I must get the house straightened back up from the explosion of life...when DID it blow up around here? I tell ya...hope this finds you enjoying this Sunday, hope you are warm, well fed, and cozy!

The Nerf gun fights started earlier than usual...and this hallway at our church building became a war zone. It felt, strangely, blasphemous. adults and kids were involved...David, being the most passionate warrior!

This is Barbara (remember her from the Harvest party pix? she was road kill)...and her husband, Randy, who is our Pastor at Horizon Christian Fellowship. They are a fun couple. Hopefully they will still like us after this party! :) you do, right? well, assuming you liked us in the first place. thanks so much for letting us use the facility. I'd call you to see if we cleaned up all right but I have NO VOICE!

I struggle with this when hostessing....so Tom, thanks for your awesome picture taking skills....I appreciate it more than you will know!

We had gobs of food and gobs of Nerf bullets whizzing thru the air. thanks to Pastor Randy for allowing us to host the bash at Horizon! Thanks to all the folks that came and brought yum yum snacks!

I'm still amazed and awed by my man's agility and strength. All those years of work outs have definitely helped you to remain spry, David Franky.

It gets pretty willllllld at our partays...weird hats, Nerf fights, wrestle time...that was kinda new last year. This is David and Damiano...I think Damiano could take you this year, DFY...he's taller than all of you men!

We do a mid-way deal...works best for our bustling crew...we usually host a NYE event at our place but we were kinda busting at the seams last year...

We will be hosting same event, at a different locale this year! Come visit us at Horizon Christian Fellowship at Main and 135 in Greenwood...starts at 8 pm.

We had a wonderful, actually very low-key (if you don't consider the ongoing Nerf gun fight upstairs) time on New Year's Eve!! Some of our usual crowd didn't make it yet some of them did and then some. We had our fellow homeschool pals, the W's, show up and all of our kids get along quite well! My parental units came (though, once again, I fail in the pic dept.) my brother, my good friend Carolyn and her sons, and our good friend, Tim, his 2 grandkids, his daughter, Brittany and her friend, Jennifer...we even got to do the "hustle" for a few minutes, ending the night with our customary Apples to Apples...we ended at 2 a.m., which is way early for our crew but I think we were all uber exhausted!! Thanks for coming, to all of our friends and family...if you didn't make it, (loser), then maybe you can grace us with your presence next year, if so be, and the Lord blesses us! (you know who you are)

Ok, I gotta get going...time for fellowship with my girls, kids are bellowing at me on each level so off I go..hope your 2008 is off to a good start! Enjoy the above, goofball pix.
